• Coordinated with a team of students to develop a web-based data scraping tool to transcribe audio from YouTube. The system utilized the CMU Sphinx speech recognition tool via the SpeechRecognition library in Python and used the Flask framework for development.
• Led a team of students in developing a water delivery system. The system used Flutter for mobile development, Firebase for database management and Flask as server. We also utilized Google maps API and Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) for delivery optimization.

Aqua Pro: Water Access Efficiency through Ant Colony Optimization with 2-Opt Local Search Strategy
Abstact
The proliferation of water refilling stations in Legazpi City is becoming increasingly important, as they are the preferred source of water for households and other establishments. As the number of water refilling stations grows, so does the importance of efficient water delivery. The Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) plays a significant role in logistics distribution in real-world applications such as this. This paper proposes a library-based Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) scheme with a two-optimization (2-opt) strategy to efficiently solve the TSP. To evaluate the performance of ACO with 2-opt, we have designed two challenging TSP cases with up to 51, 100, and 200 nodes and compared them with standard ACO. The experimental results show that ACO with 2-opt can effectively solve the TSPs, but it also demands significant computational resources as the number of nodes increases. The developed system aims to assist small businesses of water refilling stations in enhancing their operations and facilitating easy water access for customers. It employs ACO with a 2-opt strategy for route optimization in water delivery. From the customers’ perspective, it utilizes the Haversine formula to locate nearby stores. The system also integrates real-time GPS tracking and a client-server network for seamless user interactions.

Speech Crawler is a data scraping tool designed to transcribe audio from YouTube. The system opens new possibilities for researchers seeking new sources of datasets that can be used for NLP-related research. The system is designed to automatically process and transcribe audio from YouTube videos, generating a rich dataset that can be used for a wide range of NLP-related research projects.
Summary
The development of researches simulating and processing the human communication remains relevant today. In most cases, this activity concerns processing human language by means of Natural Language Processing (NLP). In Speech-to-Text (STT) conversion, the computer detects words and phrases in audio input by a person or machine and converts them into a readable format. This is majorly useful as voice and videos are increasingly predominant as with text in digital platforms.Combined with the use of data craping libraries available on Python, the researchers proposed the creation of STT transcription software that would primarily be used to transcribe English and Filipino videos fetched on YouTube. The main focus of this research will be on the development of STT Transcriptor with high regards on the recognition accuracy level, a factor which affects the overall quality of the STT transcription system.
